Our firm succeeded in a habeas corpus application resulting in the release of an Iranian citizen who had been unlawfully detained in Malaysia for four months. Subsequently, the firm then facilitated the clearance of the Iranian citizen's immigration pass to Malaysia through a successful judicial review process.
Our firm succeeded in a lengthy and complex litigation process in defending our client against a USD 1,000,000.00 claim for the unlawful interference with trade brought against our client by a major beauty retail chain in Malaysia.
Our firm obtained a Discharge Amounting to an Acquittal (DAA) for a client who was unjustly accused of assault in Malaysia.
Our partners represented a sizable private limited Company specialising in agriculture related activities and successfully executed a judgment to the amount of RM18 million.
Our partners successfully secured custody by way of a custody order from the High Court in Malaya against our client's husband who had absconded to Perth, Australia with our client's children with full cooperation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia and Australia Federal Police.
Our partner successfully overturned a decision from the Chairman of Employment Tribunal in Malaysia by way of judicial review at the High Court of Malaya on the issue of forced resignation.
